Organised each month by Nascha’s service managers, our social events are a chance for people who choose Nascha as their support provider to get together, meet other service users, catch up with support workers and get out and enjoy what Perth’s community has to offer.

November’s social event took us outdoors to Lake Monger. All Nascha service users and staff were encouraged to bring something along to share. Some brought snacks and salads, others brought sweet treats and goodies that, admittedly disappeared very quickly. The BBQ was in safe hands, thanks to long-time service user (and self-proclaimed head BBQ chef) Adrian, who made short work of the onions and sausages and kept the BBQ running smoothly.

For some, it was their first Nascha social, and for others, a familiar and much-loved catch-up. It was particularly great to see people forming friendships and sharing a laugh with others while enjoying their expertly cooked meal.
